The first progeny of "726G" to sell at public auction have caught the attention of many breeders averaging $5416, including the $10,500 high selling female at the 1999 Fall Classic Sale and $7750 sixth high selling spring heifer calf at the 2000 National Western Foundation Female Sale.

A phenotypic gem, "726G" is a big time performance sire with the numbers and looks to be competitive in any arena. His progeny are on record from 14 different herds and his birth EPD has dropped, telling us he is an improved form of his lineage for calving ease genetics.

Many astute cattlemen remarked that "726G" was the thickest bull in Denver where he was on display along with his progeny. GDA Universe 726G combines a stylish phenotype with real world beef genetics in  a functional and practical package. "726G" has already produced a remarkable show record on the East Coast, Midwest and in Canada.

His performance pattern and gentle disposition mirrors that of his sire, PAPA Universe 515, who boasts progeny ratios of 239 WWR 102, 92 YWR 102 who is featured at Accelerated Genetics and traces 22 times to RR Raito 707, one of the most predictable sources of pure muscle ever in the Angus breed. The "Universe" line is the source behind the highest appetite cattle in the breed. They want to eat, they go to the bunk, they gain, they don't get sick and they are the kind of cattle that make money.

Data on the first set of "726G" steers that were killed was very positive and his ultrasound EPDs along with that of his sire, "515", are positive for marbling, rib eye area, percent retail product with negative fat thickness. Ultrasound data at AJC Angus produced 13.57 REA on heifers and 16.1 on bulls, over 4 sq. inches above average for the breed reported by certified technicians. Goodfellow Angus in South Dakota reported that their top marbling score at 5.17 that rationed 122 in the herd was a "726G" daughter.

Internationally, "726G" is making his mark as a global sire. Colin Davidson's $26,400 record selling bred heifer at the 2000 Perth Show in Scotland was  carrying a "726G" calf that is the talk of Britain. Frozen embryos by "726G" and semen represent exciting new genetics for the herds owned by the Queen Mother, located in northern Scotland near the origin of he breed.

"726G" has a new standard for beef production. He has it all and is the epitome of the beef industry's future.

All Universe semen is Sold Out in Scotland, England and Wales . . .
