About Wakefield Farms
Wakefield Farms is a 3rd generation family
farming operation that began in 1936 and is located in
south central Minnesota, near the intersections of
I-90 and I-35. We raise purebred Charolais and Red
Angus seedstock, and we also raise corn, soybeans, hay
and small grains. We are charter members of the
Minnesota Charolais Association. Since incorporating
Charolais in 1962, our focus has always been on
raising performance cattle that excel in many traits.
Multiple trait selection that focuses on everything
from birth to maternal and carcass traits is our way
of trying to make the best performance cattle in each
of the breeds we raise.
