RS&T Simmentals was started in 1982 with the purchase of our first show heifer at the North American Sale Facility in Platte City, MO.

The next acquisitions took place in the Winter of 1983 with purchase of three heifers out of the Iowa Beef Expo.

Since that time we have witnessed the transformation of the Simmental Breed from the stereotypical large framed, big boned, hard doing, non-grading breed into the new Simmental that meets the demands of all cow/calf producers, feeders buyers and packing houses.

Scott and Tiffany got the family fully involved with the Simmental breed by exhibiting their animals across the  Midwest out East and to the West.

The look of the Simmental breed has transformed itself into a highly functional breed, to meet the demands of the beef industry.

The breeding philosophy at RS&T Simmentals has always been to produce structurally correct, easy doing, eye-appealing, functional cattle that will work, both in a commercial setting, as well as a purebred operation.

Color of the cattle may change, but the consistency of highly reproductive, sound, functional cattle never goes out of style.  Selling bulls has been something we have done from day one and remain committed to producing commercial herd sires that meet the demands of the most discriminating cattlemen.
