"LEAD is designed for the older junior
members who take leadership roles in their state associations," says Lacey
Robinson, NJAA leadership director. "Our goal is to teach them skills that
they can take back to the state level to further enhance their
associations."
Space is limited to the first 150 participants.
Juniors can pre-register for LEAD by June 15 for a price of $175; the early
registration deadline for advisors is $150. After the June 15 deadline, cost
increases to $200 for juniors and $175 for advisors. LEAD is a program of the
Angus Foundation, which supports youth, education and research. For more
information or to register online, go to
www.njaa.info or contact the
junior activities department of the American Angus Association at 816-383-5100.
